SEA-SPEED V 10 X ULTRA is hard film Silane – Siloxane  coating.  Along with our Mil-SPEC Seapoxy 73 marine antic corrosive epoxy primer for application to steel or aluminum hulls on all types of commercial vessels, including Container ships, bulkers, Ro-Ro vessels, Oil tankers and product tankers as well as ferries.

Seacoat’s SEA-SPEED is the next generation hull coating to replacement soft duplex silicone foul release coatings or conventional (3-5 year) TOXIC ablative or SPC antifouling paint. Bottom paints of the future will need to environmentally compliant and contribute to increased hull efficiency in accordance with IMO EEXI and CII for CO2 reduction initiatives. 

 The coating ULTRA smooth with a surface roughness of under five microns and has extremely low surface energy resulting in reduced drag resulting in improved hull and fuel efficiency.  See testing certification section for more details. Depending on the vessel design, reduction in power or fuel economy up to ten (12%) can be realized compared to conventional antifouling paints.

The high gloss extremely tough coating is very durable (resistant to abrasion and impact) surface helps mitigate marine growth in operation.  Unlike conventional bottom paint, SEA-SPEED V 10 X ULTRA can be underwater scrubbed without coating loss/damage or negative environmental impact from releasing toxic cuprous oxides or biocides into the aquatic environment. 

Conventional Toxic antifoul paint will only last several years.  SEA-SPEED is a non-depleting material that does not polish or ablate. Warranted for 10 years and can be applied in new building or retro-fitted in Dry docking. Reduces Maintenance OPEX significantly
